Lenovo Z50-70 UPGRADE

Solution
The Lenovo Z50-70 uses the i3-4030u, i5-4201u or i7-4510u. These CPUs are socket FCBGA1168; the most important information from that alphanumeric phrase is BGA which means the CPU does not have pins that fit into a socket. Instead it has pins that are meant to be soldered directly into the motherboard.

Graphic chips are generally soldered into the motherboard as well. The exception are certain $1,400+ laptops which have MXM slots. Only the more powerful and expensive graphic chips come in both MXM format to be inserted into a MXM slot on the motherboard and standalone chips which are soldered into the motherboard.
CPU is probably connected to the motherboard, making it impossible to replace; that seems to be the trend mostly.

As for the GPU, well, you have an integrated one, so there is no replacing that without replacing the CPU. Might be able to stick a dedicated card in there if there is space. Don't know the configuration off the top of my head. You'd have to take off the back cover and check.

did you find this information in some manual or you have disassembled it ??
