OK! I have aLenovo laptop that I am working on and it keeps asking me for the supervisor password, Well I tried all kinds of passwords but to no avail.
I already been to the sight and ask the questions on one of their forums and they said to get a new mother board and if i don't know i can't get in

Any insights at all thanks

Yes it does.
Your supervisor password (BIOS password) is stored on non-volatile flash.
You'll need to work with Lenovo to get a custom by-pass password.

I don't know if that cmos is solder to the mother board or not
I the Levono company a message about it soo who knows
If you know any parts place for this machine let me know thanks

Taking the battery out won't help at all.

What parts are you talking about?

yes i talked to representive on the phone at Lenovo told me to get a new board
don't know if he was being a wise guy or not there must be a way reset that cmos
i have tried some backdoor passwords no go

I found a place wich fixes things like that so I sent it there I think what the guy called it a security cmos so thanks for all yer help have a great day
