Staying at the topic at hand, Samsung Android phones are where it's at now-a-days.

Off topic: I just smashed (5 minutes ago) an old LG GT365 with a hammer because the phone is old as frack now. The screen withstood several hammer hits (both sides) without even a scratch. It blew me away. At least their good for something.

Considering nokia such a well-known brand and it can only sell 2M windows phone doesn't give LG much confidence in jumping into the fray. Better to wait and see how people would welcome Windows 8.

LG makes sh!t phones anyways. Their quality and support is the worst I have ever experienced. Feature phone or smartphone every LG phone I have owned has had major problems (I have owned 4, 3 Rumor and 1 Optimus).

I'm not saying you're trolling but citing your personal negative experience is seen that way by some.

Windows 8 will do great on tablets and smartphones. Hell even I am tickled for a window 8 smartphone and I hate (have no interest in) smartphones myself. Desktop, can just die because Metro UI is lame for it period.

@ people who said LG makes shitty phones, you sir are wrong. I own their Rumor Touch and its tough as hell I dropped it on pavement many times and I only got scratches on its corners. My display is still clean as hell. I owned it for over a year and half now. I cant say the same for other phones that My friends owned. They shatter and breaks aka iphone or samsung's.

Agreed. I have had nothing but great luck with LG phones. Solid solid construction.

@Jacob - My only beef with LG is they suck at software aspect =/ My phone badly need a update and they didn't even bother ever since which is quite sad because this is one solid phone.

LG needs to get on board with their software updates. Really bad. Their hardware might be good, but they need to commit to software support.

LG's move might be too soon. WP7, might have a low market share, but it is only available on about 5 handsets. Where it seems, every week a new handset come out which is running Android. Now that Nokia is cherning out a few more models sales will increase.

LG wont get very far if all they want to do is follow.
