LG Optimus 4X HD

Hi,

I am looking to buy a new smartphone I am leaning towards the LG optimus 4x hd. its in my price range and seems to have the best features for the price. I live in south africamy budget is about R4000 or $400. Does anyone have this phone? How does it perform properly without issues? Is it a phone to last me along time? and battery life ofcourse. IF it sucks can you recommend any other phones?

That is good and how is the battery life I heard it was not so good?

You can always look for a better battery if you are not satisfied with the battery life. The higher the batteries mAh rating (milliampere-hour) the longer the battery will hold power before needing a charge. So long as the voltages match the stock battery, you should be safe using a third party one with a higher mAh rating.

Does it matter what country you buy the battery? I live in south africa and I have never heard of buying aftermarket batteries.

You can order them online from stores like Newegg, TigerDirect, etc etc. Try doing a Google search for compatible batteries and see what you can dig up. Look for reviews and feel free to ask here if you are at all curious whether or not the site/brand/company is reputable.
