Question Lg tv and jvc DVD player

I hooked my jvc DVD player to my lg smart tv and get sound but no picture, help?

How exactly did you hook them up? Usually this is due to using component or composite cables and just not having them in the right ports. Also list what model TV and DVD player this is, JVC and LG make a lot of products.
