LG TV has Black and White Vertical Lines

Hello, I have an LG 46LD550 and as of recently the screen has black and white vertical lines going across the whole screen with another line splitting it in half corner to corner. I have no clue what it is but I did read another post and someone said the capacitors went and could replace them or get a new power board but wanted to ask myself.

Probably best option, as you said is bad capacitors, the lcd isnt damaged physically nor water, seems like bad capacitor.
Take it to local (reputable repair shop), and let them see, most of them should/have to replace the bad cap only, and test out if that was issue, if not, they will/should ask you will you buy new mtherboard of that monitor/tv.
