When I select PC all I get is a "9C" number in the lower right hand side. The PC works fine with regular monitors. Here is my build.

AMD A8-7650K Black Edition A-Series APU with Radeon R7 Graphics AD765KXBJASBX

MSI AMD FM2+ A68H DDR3 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX Motherboard (A68HM-E33 V2)

8GB RAM

No Optical Drive

TV is LG 55UK6300PUE

I have tried changing boot order, and uninstalling the R7 driver. Nothing but a 9C. Any thoughts are welcome.

Solution
I don't think there are any drivers required to hook a TV or monitor to a PC with HDMI.
Try a different cable. Even if it works in a different application it might not work here.
Make sure that the video resolution is compatible with the TV. If the PC doesn't have HDMI 2.0 you won't be able to get 4k so set it to 1920x1080.
The refresh rate on the PC should be set no higher than 60hz.
