Solved! LG V30 and V40

Is it possible to wipe out my LG V30 and replace everything with the LG V40 software apps etc...???

V30 runs Android v7 (Nougat). V40 runs Android V8 (Oreo). Is this what you are after? You will have to wait for LG to release (of ever) Oreo on V30, or check places like xda-developers for hacks.
