LH 75UH8500 with Samsung K950 Soundbar.. no connection

I have the New LG 75UH8500 4k TV and just bought the New Samsung K950 Soundbar. I went Samsung because of the 4K video capability and the Atmos. It says to get the best sound use the HDMI Arc. So I have the HDMI Arc plugged in on the Sound Bar and HDMI2ARC on the TV. I have set the TV sound settings to External optical/HDMI and Auto. I can get no sound and the TV seems to be fussy on even finding the ARC connection. I have swapped cables and tried the Bar on my other LG TV with the same results. After several hours of calls with both Samsung and LG, Samsung said it should work, LG says "probably" a compatibility issue, I have heard the same report on the Sony HT series sound bars as well. Has anybody had any luck connecting these or heard of a bar that works other than LG, who doesnt make a 4k Video soundbar...

I have an LG 75UH8500 4K TV and just bought the Samsung K950 sound bar. Have them hooked with HDMI ARC. I get no sound from Bar or even a verified connection. After several calls to both LG and Samsung and switching cables, etc still no results. LG says it may be incompatible? Is that even possible? Anyone else with this issue or a solution?

Yes It is just sound bar to TV... Only 1 ARC port on each. Have even swapped HDMI cables to make sure it is not a cable issue. I also plugged in other component(set top box and 4k Bluray player) to HDMI ARC on TV to verify connection.. all worked, so don't believe port is bad....
