Limit on workstations allowed for microsoft SBS 2003?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew of any limits on the number of workstation you can connect to your domain using a SBS 2003 server. I searched google for some information but found nothing. Also it would be helpful if someone could explain what CALS for sbs 2003 are used for. Are CALS for remote connections or what?

Thanks for any tips and information in advanced. Sorry if this is not the correct forum section, I saw no server 2003 or 2008 sections.
