Limited Cable Channels

My new LG TV won't play the NESN cable channel, but we can get NESN on the other TVs in the house. Our cable service is with Time Warner.

You may have a splitter that doesn't support the frequency that channel is on. You could have some other reason that the signal is attenuated. Digital TV, unlike analog will either work or not. There is no "snowy" picture situation.
