I have a live recording project coming up and I'm wondering about the
best way to approach it given the tools available to me. I'm hoping to
record 8 to 10 tracks using an iBook G3/900 running DP 3.11 (OS 9) and
using a Presonus Firestation firewire audio interface. Are there any
particular problems I should be on the look out for using this combo??
I know there are 2 versions of the Firestation. One that works in OS 9
and one that works in OSX only. I believe I have the first version that
works in OS 9. Anything I need to know to get the Firestation working
reliably in OS 9. I would greatly appreciate suggestions on how to best
handle this.

TIA,
Prof

Your first step is just to hook it all up and see what happens. If it's
working basicly, arm as many track as you'll need, feed them with some
sound, and you'll quickly discover if it''l work. If it doesn't, then
specific descriptions of what is or isn't happening will help folks
close-in on potential solutions.
