I'm looking for some advise on what spec of laptop I need for decent live streaming/ downloading with good quality graphics. I currently have a sony and a dell but both are around 3 years old and both have issues with down loading and quality. They even struggle with BBC Iplayer.

Would like to know what sort of base level spec I need. I have seen two laptops both with 1TB Storage and 8GB of memory but one has a AMD A9 and the other a i5-7200u. Would one be better than the other?

Solution
I don't know anything about streaming, but the i5-7200u is a more powerful CPU and it capable of handing 4 threads because it has Hyper Threading (HT), but that assume the program(s) have been designed to make use of HT. The A9-9410's performance is closer to that of a 5th or 6th generation Core i3 CPU.

The Intel HD 620 and Radeon R5 (Bristol Ridge) integrated GPUs are similar in overall performance.
