Hi I jus bought a dell xps m1530 and it has a user password and I dnt know the password any way to reset it to get into the lab top

Really, if you did actually just buy it. take it back to where you bought it from, along with the receipt. they will either fix the problem or replace it.

If you 'aqquired' the laptop however, you could ask the owner.
