Hello
In a moment of panic when I couldn’t get past the Microsoft sign in. I accidentally set a BIOS password using a faulty keyboard. The password worked once when I put it in the text box that shows when I power it on. But the next day the password didn’t work. So have tried pressing F2 and F12 repeatedly and holding when starting it up but no change.
Opened it up but the battery connected to the system is not a Li coin cell so I am not too confident I can remove it safely.
All other things point to a button to press on start up or removing this battery. Planning on taking it in to a PC clinic but not given me a booking.
