So, I got a brand new pair of Logitech G930 wireless headsets and after taking it out of the package and installing all of logitechs software the connection to my computer is so bad I get a 50% packet lose and it reconnects and connects about every five seconds. I do live in a apartment complex with a lot of routers around me. Should I just return them or should I try something before I return them, has anyone else had this problem before?

Most people ive seen have had bad experiences with them, but some havent, your best bet is to return it and get another headset.

Logitech G930s run off a 2.4Ghz signal you may try changing the channel of your router to another channel to see if it stops disconnecting or change the headsets channel in regedit. Some people have reported that taking off the plastic cover over the wireless dongle that transmit the headsets signal to your PC (The USB) lets it get a better signal. I also found this video with a quick search and it may help

Seemed like that head set is having that issue with a lot of people lately. I think they f'ed up recently on those headsets.I currently have one but it's about 3 years old and doesn't have that issue. From what I've read, you have to re script something in the program or plug the USB directly in your comp and not in the charger it comes with. There's lots of info about this in the logitech forums. Also from what I've read, logitech says they're looking into the problem but they haven't done anything in over a year🙁 I'm sorry, it's a great headset though, when it's working D:

I used the headset for over 2 1/2 years and I never experienced any of the issues that most people get such as disconnections, static, horrible 7.1 sound. Mine was just plug the receiver in the USB and charge it when it died. I did never use the USB extender with the hub though.
