Logitech z906 surround

Hello, I just purchased a logitech z906 for my sony tv xbr-55x850d. I hooKed an hdmi cable from dish box to tv. I then hooked a digital optical cable from the logitech to the tv. I cant get any sound. I went to tv audio options but nothing seems to work? HELP!!! And Thanks!!

Hi, Have you selected form the Z906 remote the input source (the INPUT button)?

Just did. It scrolled through all the input options but still no sound! Thx but dangit! So wanted surround tonite
