Looking for 2 in 1 laptop

Hi all,

I am looking for a preferably 2 in 1 laptop or with like 360 hinge on which I can do sketching so it needs to have a good pen with tilt recognition and so on and to use Photoshop on. I dont really mind the size of it but something in the 14" would be great I think. Can be a bit smaller or a bit larger. I would like it to have a good battery life as I will be on the go with it. I dont have a make preference. But my price range would be something like £500 maybe £600 at a push.

Do u have any recommendations? Any more questions just ask.

yes, and that is why the cintiq is so much better. because of all of the little things like that, which make life easier when sketching.

so over all i think that two in one is your best option and it will, most likely, have some features like that of its own. then you can upgrade to the cintiq later. just get a pen with a fine tip and a brush end and you should be good to go for a while.

So, I have done more research into this. And I came to the conclusion that possibly it would be better if I would buy a laptop which is able to run photoshop, preferably has a 15" screen. It doesn't need to have a touchscreen. But the price would be great if it would be like £400, can be a little more as then I could buy the wacom intuos pro medium with it which would work better than the laptops screen. Are there any laptops which you could recommend in this specification?

I am not sure if their GPU's are good enough to use for Photoshop, but I think they are. Are there any else that you could recommend that could be a better option.

ok so.. in my opinion:

the first one has a 7/10 processor and 8GB of RAM but it has no touch screen for sketching.

the second one has a 5/10 processor and 8GB of RAM. Don't know if this is touch screen or not... but it gets a lot of bad reviews.

the third one (I think that i have found the link: http/store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=P0S46EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB) has just an every so slightly better processor than the second one like 5.3/10 but only 6GB of ram and don't know if this is a touch screen or not either.

As with it I would use like the wacom intuos pro medium to sketch as it has everything I need. Would the first laptop run Photoshop well?

the first one is the most powerful of the three and will run photoshop just as good as my PC. and you are correct, I just thought that you wanted to sketch on the laptop.

I can't find the exact configuration that you have but, as long as you get the I7 processor then it should be just as good as the asus but without the I7 there is no reason to choose it over the asus.

It was the first idea to sketch on the laptop. But as there is no great pressure sensivity, a better idea is to get a non touchscreen laptop and a graphic tablet.
