Looking for ~$700 laptop for programming, slight gaming

Hey everyone,

With a course I will be taking in school it'll require a program which the school PCs doesn't have, therefore I'll need a laptop for school. Also, I can use it for general at-home usage to go along w/ my desktop. My preferred specs are as follows:

i5
6+ GB RAM
7200 RPM drive, 750GB +
No Intel HD Graphics

I rarely use / price out laptops, so if I'm asking too much, please tell me what the best I can get for ~$700

I'm Canadian, so please use Canadian links only. If you can find in-store offers, please find it around Woodstock, Ontario. The maximum price I'm willing to pay, shipping and taxes (13%) is $750, the lower the better.

Do you mind buying online from newegg, amazon etc? You'll generally get a better deal even with taxes + shipping compared to purchasing from stores. However that's for you to determine. Here are two choices;

The specs should be around what you need however the Dell does have HD graphics.

Thanks, but I've already found a decent laptop at a Staples near me. It's actually almost, if not the same as the first one you linked for $650, but I don't have to wait for shipping this way.
