Meh, who cares if the brand isn't popular, you buy what's advertised, good tech, if you honestly believe it'll fail in one year, buy worse tech that's main brand.
I'm sure Aorus have a warranty period, but if OP isn't happy with it, he can always get a drop/spill/failure warranty through square-trade for about $200 - $250. Still a better deal than anything you can get through Alienware, Lenovo, MSI, HP, Asus, and etc.
