Looking for a cheap but good laptop

I will need it for school purposes and not for gaming. My budget is 300 dollars. What brand of laptop (or laptop) is the best choice for this? I don't care about the battery life, only the space of the hard drive or ssd and the cpu. Thanks

Here are two $300 laptop from Acer and Lenovo. They basically have the same specs: Core i3-6100u, Intel HD 520, 4GB RAM, 1TB Hard drive, 1366x768 screen. Since both are budget laptops I expect build quality would be very similar. If you want to use them to play "light" games, then I recommend you upgrade the RAM with another stick of 4GB DDR3L RAM when you have the money.

If you prefer AMD, then there's the following $300 HP with a quad core A8-7410, but it is actually not as powerful as the dual core i3-6100u and it's integrated graphics core is less powerful than the Intel HD 520.
