Just a heads up, the "great graphics card" isn't even a dedicated gpu. I doubt anyone would consider it good for gaming.

Iv been looking for a laptop around that price also, this is what I found with some help.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834317539

it 870 bucks so its a little over your limit and also has a Core i5 4200H (2.80GHz) not an i7 like u stated but iv come to realize just because its an i7 does not make it auto better then an i5

but it also comes with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 2GB so for the price its the best I can find.

i hear what your saying, and you prob know more about this then me, I use these forums for help more then anything, and I also use that site alot.

But there are i5 processors rated higher then some i7 processors. If you look closley the i5 has higher Ghz then the lower rated i7 but im just saying dont do what I did years ago and see somthing that says Intel i7 and think its auto better then an i5

also this may be an obvious statement but I was pretty dumb when it came to computers back then. Know I just know to do research before buying :D

Mobile processors comparison Not the ultrabooks (The U processors) - The difference is the i5 and the i7 the i7's are quad core and 8 thread and the i5's are all duo core 4 thread. The bottom of the line i7 has twice the cache 6mb to 3mb of the top of the line i5. The max clock speed of the lowest i7 except the I4760HQ is higher then the fastest i5.

There is no comparison.

ok well thanks for clearing some stuff up, I guess iv been more confused then i thought because the site
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

has many i5 rated higher then i7 and ofcourse vise versa.
For example Intel Core i5-4690 @ 3.50GHz is rank 157 and Intel Core i7-2670QM @ 2.20GHz is rank 238.

so i thought because the i5 is 2.5 ghz it made it better then the 2.20 ghz i7.

also back to the original question this laptop may be right what your looking for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152646&&nm_mc=BAC-Criteo&cm_mmc=BAC-Criteo-_-NewsFeed-_-NA-_-NA

i7 decent graphic card from what i understand and under 800 bucks :D not 100% if its better then the other one iv linked

I may also go with this one if orlbuckeye dont mind giving your opinion on the laptop?
