Preferably higher than Intel Core i3
Preferably a 1TB HDD
Preferably 8GB Ram or higher
Preferably something that stands out more than the rest at that price

First one more ram (16) and an SSd. Second slightly better i7 and better gpu, but less ram (8).

BTW the is a refurb and a very fat laptop made for gaming. He said he wanted something for work.

Yeah they have some low end crap, but I have a very nice aluminum envy from them. Recently they came out with a lot of nice laptops.

Maybe when we stop getting problems reported with them and we can access info from HP to help fix problems, then I'll feel differently.

I have no issues, my 2 sisters have no issues, and 3 of my friends have no issues.
