Hello everyone ^^

Our school is moving from laptops to chromebooks (tries not to puke). These chromebooks are very slow and you cannot (and you're not allowed to) download any software on it. This means that programs like word and powerpoint won't be available to use anymore. So we now have to use google drive (really trying not to puke).

The reason i don't want to use these programs is because the editing options are limited.

Now this is what i'm looking for in my new laptop:

- 1tb storage for documents and movies

- light weighted. Easy to carry in a bag and a simple design.

- Not too expensive (550$) (i have a job though, so this budget can be raised)

- not too fancy, no need for unnessecary features like backlights.

- a fast but not too fancy cpu. No i7 but an i3 or i5 will do fine.

- an amd APU with integrated graphics like the a8 or a10 series would be sweet. That way i could take it to a friend's house to play the occasional game or watch a movie

- no need for a top-shelf gpu as i already have a pc for that
- windows 7 or 10 pre installed BUT NO 8!

- hdmi port preferred but not required
