Looking for a Laptop on which to write a book and watch movies on over 11"inches and won't be damaged by a shor

Need a Laptop with a battery life of at least 8.5 hours larger than 11" inches durable in case of a fall carbon fiber shell or outer memory enough for a novel and for watching movies or streaming HULU and NETFLIX and dependable enough that I won't have to buy a replacement in 9 months this is something that I would like to buy sooner than later thanks Toby S

Get a tablet with a good case, will be more durable than a laptop.

You can find a Surface Pro 3 12" used for about $400 in good shape and there are several Android tablets in that size, and the larger Apple tablet if you want to go that way.

Hopefully the new laptop has punctuation symbols on the keyboard as well, LOL. 😉
