Looking for a laptop with a docking station

Hi everyone,

Since I'm close to graduating, I've sold my old Macbook and my desktop and am currently suffering with scrap parts from friends that just decided to toss their old computers to me. I'm looking for a laptop now as an upcoming software engineer.

I was looking into the Macbook Pro seeing how I enjoyed the whole Macbook experience when I had it. However I feel like it's overpriced and definitely not worth (up for debate).

I'm now very interested in a laptop with a docking station (the ones where you latch the laptop onto not USB docking stations) and have looked into the Dell and HP ones. There's also Lenovo laptops that can utilize docking stations however all the reviews from poor quality of the docking stations worry me.

Does anyone else know of any other laptops that I could check out? And also are there any laptops that are coming to market in the near future (with the release of Skylake and Computex etc...) that I should keep an eye out for?

Lenovo is the only company that I know of that has uses docking systems a lot. I have heard about dell's solution as well. Never heard of hp using one though.
