I am confused with two laptops lenovo z50-70 and lenovo y510. Z50-70 has gt840m has 4gb dedicated memory. Is it better?

What will be your main purpose?

If you will be Photoshoping, then 4GB is recommended to render the image. But if you are gaming, then any GPU below 840M is not suitable. I would still recommended Lenovo Y510p, but it will be better if you get the SLI version. Which means two of the same GPU, this will be useful in gaming and photo editing.
