Looking for a laptop

So i study at the technological institute of Crete in Greece at the computers department. I am thinking of buying a laptop for having it in class for different lessons like c++, java and so on.. Any one has any suggestion in the price 300-400 euros?

This is local issue, as your locale may impose all kind of taxes, unknown to this International forum. For that $ you are looking at an I3. Don't need anything powerful for university, you won't be coding W11. Buy something sturdy, with the biggest screen real estate (seeing relevant codes on one screen helps), while keeping bulk and weight down (anybody who's gone to school knows about the backpack).

thanks for the answer. but will an i3 be able to run matlab? thats my concern
