1. What is your budget? Roughly around 1000-1200

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? preferably around 15-17

3. What screen resolution do you want? As long as it's HD, it's not that big of a concern since it will be plugged in through HDMI when I am home

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? portable

5. How much battery life do you need? at least 3 hours

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Yes, basically just your average gamer, I play anything from sandbox to FPS or mmorpgs. Would like them to play high, but medium is fine as long as the frames are good.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) The laptop will be for college (going for computer science major) so I'll be doing a lot of programming and editing.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? 500gb-1tb is fine, I do have 3 TB of external HDD so this one isn't to much of an issue, I would just prefer my games and software to be kept on the internal.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. Amazon would be best, but as long as it is a well known site that's trusted I'm ok with it.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? I need to have it at least 4 years since I'm starting college this month.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? Bluray would be nice, but not needed, I do need at dvd/cd ROM/Writer though

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. honestly I'm use to brands like MSI, ASUS, and Alienware. So just keep it as closely similar to these as you can.

13. What country do you live in? USA

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
I know quite a bit when it comes to computers and shopping for them, however, I do enjoy getting multiple inputs when it comes to things like this. I know my budget is a little small when it comes to the gaming style laptops, but it's what I can afford at the moment. I will be working on building a custom tower here in the future, but I'm unsure when exactly that will be. So Any input or suggestions you guys can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

The Website Xotic Its one of the Best in USA for custom pc, I live in mexico and i have bought 2 laptops with them, They ship international, you can customize any laptop, and their customer service is superb, I replaced a screen in one of my laptops and they paid for the shipping, sent it back in a really nice package. Try to invest in the Warranty they give, Its really worth it. I bought the 2 year warranty, when my lcd broke i was on my 3rd year, and i tought the warranty wasnt in place, i called them to ask how much it would be and they told me i had 1 free year warranty and my 2 year warranty started after the 1st Year ended. They are pretty nice people and they have a quick chat in live to talk with them about anything payment, shipping, suggestions, etc. Good Luck Mate

I've thought a lot about buying from xoticpc, I had a friend of mine when I was in the Air Force that bought a MSI from them and I was pretty impressed with what he bought. Sadly I can't afford the MSI (I would only buy their higher end models because of the internal hardware.) As far as Sagger goes, I've not really heard a whole lot about them so I've been a little sketchy of them, mainly just because of the fact I haven't heard a lot about them. Would they (long term) be worth the buy?

Check those answers, I personally dont own a sagger, but one of my friends does, he bought the laptop in 2008, and its still alive and he use it mostly as an Htpc it has a core 2 quad with GTX 280 sli and we just go and play some PS2 games on it. Not a single problem with the laptop.
