1. What is your budget?
£1200/$1700

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15.6 inch or lower, my school bag wont fit a 17 :(

3. What screen resolution do you want?
I would love a 3k, but if 1080p offers other trade offs then i am happy to settle.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Already have a powerful desktop, so just portability.

5. How much battery life do you need?
Gaming maybe 1 hour (?) Light use (internet, word processing) I'd like as much as possible.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I mainly play CSGO, so not really that demanding, but occasionally rock out the high quality single player game like tomb raider.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
General computer tasks like internet browsing and word processing.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

Overclockers UK
Amazon.co.uk
Scan.co.uk

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
2-3 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
None

Open to all

13. What country do you live in?
UK

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
Slimmer is better! unless it means trading battery life.

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the help! If 17 inch really is much better maybe I can work around it. Any contenders around the same price point?

You still have to uprate the CPU, add an SSD, more memory and a larger HDD.
