Looking for a Reliable Laptop

I was looking at acer and asus laptops, and cannot seem to decide which one I should get. I want a reliable laptop that is quick and preferably around 15 inches in width.

asus should in theory be more reliable compared to acer. toshiba-s come with a no matter what guarantee (or used to a while back)

Don't get an acer. Worst laptop I've ever owned. Lots of defective parts... Have had to replace the screen (backlight failure), hard drive (failed), keyboard (failed). USB 3.0 chip is defective. Lots of motherboard problems have required reflowing the solder. Been inside this thing so many times the case has started falling apart. Cheap molded abs plastic with thin joints on high stress areas. I had to use abs glue to rebuild parts of it and reinforce all the captive nuts.
