Looking for advice on the laptop i am looking at, want to make sure it will do what i want

I am looking for a laptop. I would like it to play Sims 3 with no lag, on high graphics plus I want it to do all other computer things too (search the internet, play music, write paper, etc.). Right now I have a found a computer. The specs are below. Please give your opinion (without to much tech talk cause I am new and not super advanced)!

Yep, that should be able to max The Sims 3 no problem. If it was me, I'd want a higher resolution screen, but that's up to you, and may be significantly more expensive.
