Hi all,
Hoping for a little advice regarding my search for a new laptop.
I already have a gaming PC (Xeon, GTX 960 etc), and am hoping for something small that will comfortably handle multiple browsing and word document tasks, without slowing down noticeably, and that will last a good long while on battery power.
I don't mind if it's a 2-in-1 or not. I need a good battery life (around 8 hours preferable) as I'll be needing it for long train journeys. An Intel Core i3 or better would be preferable, as my current (now hugely outdated) laptop just about handles what I can do, and is an i3. I'm very aware that storage will be the bit I have to compromise on (maybe buying an external HDD too), but I'd like 64GB as an absolute minimum.
Windows preferable, as is a good build quality (nothing too 'bendy'), and comfortable key presses.
As I'm doing an engineering degree, AutoCAD would be a great bonus, but it's not 100% necessary, as I have a main PC as well.
As I said, I have a budget of around £500, though will consider laptops up to and including £600.
Thank you all for your help,
