So I live on a narrowboat, which means power can be tricky. When we aren't using the inverter, we're restricted to 12V sockets. I really need to use my laptop regularly, but as is, I can charge my laptop for an hour or two a day which gives me about an hour of use. I realise that the battery might be a bit knackered, but even then a new battery would only give me a couple more hours with it given that I need to run programs like photoshop and tv paint.
How could I power my laptop in a way that would give me a good 6+ hours a day with it? Is there some kind of heavy duty power bank that I could invest in? Or some way to utilise the 12V sockets?
I should also add that portability isn't an option because I use laptops like desktops anyway.
Thank you!
