I'm not so savvy when it comes to hardware, so I really need help on this one.

I'm running a customizable Alienware m15x lappy, getting close to two years old now, so I'm thinking of doing some upgrading internally.

OS: Vista Home Premium is being changed to W7 Ultimate.
RAM: 667MHz DDR2 (I'm going to 4GB's, have 2.5 now)
GFX Card: NVIDIA Geforce 8700M GT
Processor: Intel Core2 Duo T8300 2.40Ghz

So my question is
Would the memory upgrade be worth it? and what graphics card can I get with my processor?

Reply if you need any other info.
Also, what would you do to my lappy (upgrade-wise) if you had it?

Solution
Well upgrading memory to 4GB will give you a boost if you run a 64 bit OS.
And as for VGA,you can upgrade it to a 8800MGTX but i think it will void the warranty(if its still under warranty)but a 8800MGTX performs pretty much like a 8800GTS 640 desktop version.
So a combination of a C2D 2.4 with a 8800MGTX will let you play new games on medium settings.
If you have the money, get a new laptop because there are lots of better options and also 8800MGTX is hard to find too

Can you afford a new laptop ?

by the end of summer I'll probably have a few thousand, but I don't want to spend more than 1500$. Spending 2500 on what I have now sort of seems like a mistake now that I think about it.
