Hell I have s Samsung tv KN46D630M3FXZA will it hook up to viso 2.1 Soundbar.it works through DVD. Could I have something hooked up wrong?

Can't find specs on that TV online and you don't give the model number of the soundbar.
If the connection you use for DVD works and the TV doesn't have that same kind of audio output then you can buy a converter. Most likely you would use an optical to analog converter.
