I have Samsung smart TV 4k and it has only optical output .I need to know how to hookup my analog bose5 sires3 and concedring there is no receiver .i have only wifi connection

Well that's your problem because this BOSE needs amplification.

This is stereo, so any old receiver sitting in the attic? parents don't have one in theirs? It doesn't need anything fancy, ANY old stereo receiver, amplifier will do, and for the optical, a TOSLINK TO RCA CONVERTER (inexpensive).

U mention no budget, or sonic expectation.

Thank a lot for ur replying .I am all ready have analog to digital converter with optical cable .so understand onley need any stereo receiver . And
If I have iptv is it worked or not ? Thank u
