looking for battery problm

I replace my Acer v5 laptop's battery recently. how I take care battery? someone told me to use the laptop with adoptor. I donot understand his suggestion. do I use the laptop with adoptor while plugedd in

they meant remove the battery and use it plugged in when you have access to a plug socket

Use your mains charger as often as you can, when your out this is not always possible. Batteries last longer if they are left to discharge every so often every few months but do not let the battery fully discharge if you can if it fall to 10% or below recharge it a fully drained battery might not re-charge.
