looking for budget gaming laptop

Hello friends
I want to buy a gaming laptop
I found a laptop hp envy 15z-j100
It comes with
Amd a10 5750m
8gb ram
1tb hdd
2gb 8750m gpu
No optical drive
4usb3.0 1 hdmi
15.6 non touch screen.
Price:530 $

So is it a worth to buy product...???
I hope i would get a good solution for this.

It seems alright but I would be a little weary of that gpu. it comes in both a DDR3 and a DDR5. If is DDR5 it would be alright for most games at around medium settings however if its DDR3 it might be hard to play games even on low. Also Generally whenever they make a gpu like that 2gb its a remarketing thing and generally is slower with DDR3. You could probably game on it but don't expect much. If you post a budget we can find you something better

Your selection is good and if you want you can buy them and also check all other laptops and choose the best one that suits you and also for gaming 8 gb ram is not required and you can save money in that case.

Mobility GPUs are crap .... instead try a custom built(Assembled) PC, it would be much cheaper with better performance as far as Gaming is concerned.

Must you buy a laptop, what games? Laptops aren't the most powerful, you can get a much better PC desktop for that price.

But if its preference and the ability of bring it around then it's all cool.

- 2GB on the GPU is good (DDR5), and so is the 8GB of RAM.
- $530 dollars budget, I'd say it's not too bad at all!

What is said by "talktoarnab" is correct but you have to work a lot to assemble a laptop with correct parts and buying an unassembled pc is rather easy and all these things depends on you.

Those have even worse graphic cards than the one he listed.. They aren't good for gaming.

He's in the laptop section. Why must people constantly come to the LAPTOP section of the forums and recommend desktops. He's obviously made his mind up about a LAPTOP.

These Laptops are good for daily use such as browsing, watching SD videos, Music etc. They are not good for any 3D games with good graphics, but that offcourse depends on what kind of games you play.
