I have a MSI laptop, the power comes on but my screen never comes on, any one have any ideas of what this problem might be?

Can you see a very dim screen image when you hold a bright light up near the laptop screen?
If yes your laptop screen backlight isn't working. And that usually means either a backlight tube replacement or the FL inverter which powered the backlight tube.
