Looking for mkv editing program

i have a three hour mkv file and i only want to keep like 3mins, so i just wanna cut out that and get rid of the rest, looking for a app that can handle this task

thx, but that doesnt help, does anyone know of an app that can let me edit the file in a timeline, ive got 4gigs of ram, and will b soon getting either an x4 630 or an x2 245

Try Format Factory its an all in one Opensource tool. in video conversion select desired output format & you have a advanced button(forgot the exact name even though i used many times) in that you can select the desired time for the clip
