Looking for new gaming laptop, is this MSI a good choice?

Hi

I'm looking to replace my desktop with a laptop, with gaming as it's primary purpose. Currently I'm looking at the MSI GT72VR 7RD-440NL DOMINATOR as it seems to have all the things I need

- minimum 17 inch screen
- minimum gtx 1060
- separate microphone and headphone ports
- intel i7
- decent amount of RAM

Is this a good choice? Anything I should know about the laptop or about MSI (never bought there before)? Any (better) alternatives?

how about ssd/hdd?MSI have been around for some time now and its normal if there is some hit and misses.i personally own a few MSI laptops.their GT and GX series is pretty good.so yeah if its in your price range i say why not.
