Looking for PC speaker setup

I am currently using the Microlab Solo 6c which I am very pleased with but they are just too big for the space I have available. I have done a decent amount if research and it seems I should be looking for 2 bookshelf speakers and an amp. I understand this is over my budget but I would try and look around to find them cheaper. I was mainly wonder if this speaker and amp combo was any good? Can I get better for the money? Is the amp powerful enough for the speakers?
Any help is much appreciated and please reccomend me something better in the same price range!

I have Microlab 2.1. They don't seem big. The sub is under the desk. I like them.

so many to choose from but i like my harmon kardon soundsticks

and they look totally different from just about every other speakers
