I have HP 350 G1 laptop
Intel i5 4200 cpu
4 GB Ram 1600 MHz
500 GB HDD
Amd Radeon 8670 Me
I want to play games like pubg and GTA v. I also want to know what kind of games I can run in it. I've run far cry primal smoothly with medium settings. Also let me know what should I upgrade in it so that I can also play GTA and pubg

Solution

Just because it's a higher number doesn't mean it's better.
It works like this we take as example your 4200u
i5 = what it is
4 = generation
2 = place in the lineup
00 = place in the sublineup
u = low power (a lot weaker)

Now it's also a mobile processor...

You can't upgrade anything that will make those games playable.

So 8 GB ram won't be enough for GTA v or pubg? I've seen it run in much worse systems. Also it has 2 ram slots one has the 4 GB ram and other is empty so I'm thinking which ram I can buy

Gta V might get 30 fps from time to time but it will usually sit in the 20's because your cpu is so slow and the gpu is also quite weak.

Pubg is just not playable unless 15-20 fps at 640*480 sounds like something you want to do.

So there's no possible way my laptop can run it right

No possible way to get it running in a playable way.

What about an eGPU?

But the system requirements of GTA V says that it's recommended i5 3470 processor and mine is i5 4200 and recommended graphics is hd and mine is hd 8670.
Also for pubg the site says intel
i3 4340 and graphics and Radeon HD 7870. Is my cpu inferior to i5 3470 and i5 4340

Now it's also a mobile processor which means it runs a lot slower than the desktop counterpart. According to some info yours at max speed is about the same as an athlon II x4 640 in the best case. That cpu cannot run pubg at all and gta V is a mixed experience of 10-70 fps for most users that tried (this is with a high end gpu).

Your 8670m is the same as how intels proccesor lineup works.
An 8670m in the best case I could find is about the same as a 8800 gts which is a high end card from 2008-9 and was enough to play titles up till 2013 at 1080p low-medium at 30 fps. So your 8670m is not enough to play gta V unless you like seeing your pixels as large blobs and simply incapable of play pubg.

A hd 7870 is about 8 times better than your 8670m and a the i5 3470 is about 2 times better.
