Hello,

This August, I will be living on campus studying Computer Science. One thing I'm looking to get now is a laptop and after getting a few opinions from some buddies and family, I narrowed down my search of what I want.

*Size: roughly 15"-16"
*Either an i5 or i7, though prefer i7
*4-8GB RAM
*500-750GB HDD
*Have a decent enough graphics card that where it won't be abysmal, but also it's not the top of the line. Only game that I may concern myself playing if I did play a game on my laptop would be Diablo III in whatever quality I can.
*Brand preference along the lines of an ASUS
*Battery life can be up to 6-7 hours at least.

My budget will be somewhere between $500-$750.

Thanks in advance!

I definitely like that ASUS one especially the reviews it has gotten for it. The Samsung one isn't that bad either, more USB 3.0 ports and a stellar HD camera however quality of the camera wouldn't concern since I've heard a lot that ASUS laptops have very high performance quality out of them. It concerns me what that Samsung might have since it's only $500 compared to the ASUS one. I think based on your recommendations I would probably choose between those two.

Just have some final questions:

1.) Based on the ASUS and Samsung laptop, which one would you believe run the best performance out of Diablo III?

2.) Other than those Pros and Cons featured, what advantages does the ASUS have over the Samsung that would be great for a college student and vice versa?
