Just purchased this laptop and I'd like to get the most out of it... what upgrades, if any, can I get for it?

not much to change.

only upgrades that would make sence are Memory and the hard drive.

if it comes with Windows7 32-bit, max memory is 4Gb.
if it comes with Windows7 64-bit, max it out to 8Gb.

also a hard drive with 7200 rpm might be another improvement.

So you just bought a laptop and you want to upgrade it, what sense does that make?

Why didn't you just buy a better laptop??

You can upgrade the RAM from 3GB to 6GB or 8GB. However, to use more than around 3.25GB - 3.5GB of RAM, you must have Windows 7 64-bit operating system installed.

You can upgrade the hard drive to a larger capacity.

Referring to another thread you started in the PC Game sub-forum, you will not be able to upgrade it to play Star Trek Online with decent performance.
