Looking to upgrade to a better Thinkpad...

Hey all,

I currently have a Thinkpad T60 which has been a great laptop, but I can't upgrade to Windows 10 because of the graphics. (I know there are ways, but I want a newer laptop anyway).

I'm looking to spend around $250-$350 for a decent used one. Probably will be purchasing via ebay or locally.

Obviously, I want it to run Windows 10 well. Best bang for the buck in that price range. Workstation or top-end prefered. Will suffice for more expensive higher-end one thats a little older than a newer lower-end one.

What's the best thing to get? Normal everyday internet use. Already have a gaming desktop.

Probably the ThinkPad T530. The newer T540 is likely out of your price range... and that is the model where Lenovo made the horrible decision to have a single large mousepad (trackpad) with no buttons and the pad itself acts like a button because when you press down, it pad moves down like a giant button.

Here's one selling for $325 (the last one), but search ebay for better deals.

Unless you get a used one you are looking at low end stuff for sure in that price range.

For a ThinkPad, the T420 or T420s should be in that price range for a good clean model. Maybe even a T430 if you look around a bit. For a workstation, W510 or maybe a W520.
