Lost everything on my compact presario c56-219wm notebook pc

Did a restore and lost everything on my Presario cq56-219wm notebook pc was using Windows 10 and was having lots of issues.

Can you walk us through on how you did the restore with your laptop? There's 2 type of restore with windows a destructive which will delete everything and a non-destructive restore will not harm your files.
