Low budget laptop for games

Hello, i need some advice.
I want to make a switch from console gaming to pc gaming.
It needs to be a laptop because i became ill and just can't be on 1 place the entire time.
I have a pretty low budget ($750, 650 euro's where i am from)
I found one for that exact budget with the following specs:

i3 7100H 3.0GHZ
GTX 950M 2GB
8GB Ram
128GB SSD + 1 TB HDD

Would this play today's games and upcoming games on medium settings with resolution 1920x1080 or 1600x900 at 40+ fps

Or would you guys suggest something else?
