Hi there,
First, thank you for helping me with this possible problem.
My friend just bought a Dell E1505 and it was delivered yesterday. He gave it to be to take off some of the bloat-ware and to add anti-virus and office programs.
I thought it was running slow so I installed 3dMark05 and 3dMark06.
3dMark05 = 1690
3dMark06= 682
I think those numbers are very low. This computer is behind a router. Here are some of the specifics on it:
XP Home Edition SP2 32-bit
Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB) 64-bit
2GB of 667MHz RAM
Nividia GeForce Go 7300 256 MB RAM
It has the latest Windows updates
The most recent Video driver ( 8.4.6.9 )
Most recent DirectX
Dell BIOS release 02/07/2007
Are these Futuremark numbers too low? They seem low to me. Is there any other information that I could provide that might help you know if there is another problem?
Thank You
